Refusing a FedEx Package?

Can I take a unopened package that was delivered to my house back to a Kinkos/fedex shipping place and refuse it so I dont have to pay return shipping?

I think who ever sent it to you has to send you a Package return label. You would have had to have refused it in delivery otherwise.

Did you order it and then change your mind? HH

Once the package has been delivered, it's no longer any concern of FE. They are through.

I have seen instances where a shipper will take the package and return it to the sender without charging the customer, but someone is going to pay shipping. If this is a refund situation for you, expect the return shipping to be taken from your refund, as well as any fees the company sees fit to charge.
Sorry, Okie. I tried, I really did. There are just too many idiots for whom I have little patience. You were a better man than I.

I "refused" a FedEx package last week.

I did contact the company and told them they shipped two of the same thing, in two packages.
They said, just refuse one.
FedEx took it back, no problem.

The refund hasn't shown up on my VISA card yet.

Once its delivered at your door I would say no. I have mistakenly ordered something from I emailed Amazon and it was too late to stop shipping. They emailed me back and instructed me to refuse the UPS package and that is what I did. I don't think once its confirmed as delivered you can refuse it.

At work I ordered some UV T5 bulbs that sounded like a rain stick when they arrived. I refused those and they tried to deliver the same smashed bulbs the next day. This was UPS. Eventually they figured out that bulbs don't ship well in cardboard tubes.

yes, you can refuse an unopened package. I don't believe they will charge anyone to return ship it either. The only time i've had to do it was with a business, so i can't be sure about person to person parcels.

UPS will take one back unopened and I'm sure fedex has the same policy.

If you can fit it into one of their drop boxes write refused on it and cram it in

We owned a video store. Companies would send us videos we had not ordered "on approval".

We always refused the packages from UPS and FedEx. We would just tell them we did not order it and can't accept it. I don't know how they handled it but it never came back on us.
If it can't get you in trouble, it's not an adventure.

I once returned a book that was not as described to a seller on eBay and had already recieved a refund (from paypal protection)after I posted a confirmation that I shipped it back , turns out the seller refused the package for some reason and it shipped back to me , I then turned around and sold it on eBay .
