A Proud Husband Moment

I took my wife to the pistol range last night and she did very well. When we got home she put a photo of one of her targets on Facebook.

Well was I ever surprised! We have progressed from

"He's not hurting anyone so I guess it's ok"

Through"They had those almonds that I like BOGO at Publix, I bought them all!

To posting range target photos on Facebook, has a CCW, calls them "My guns" when talking about the Glock 26's vs. your guns when talking about the Glock 19's (16 shots in the black '5 inche diameter' at 50 feet, that's right I'm the man!). And she is proud of my preps, food, water, filters, solar stuff, you name it. She used to think that I am nuts... well I owe it all to Obama and I am man enough to admit it! He scared my wife into my world, what a guy! Makes me wish I had voted for him... well maybe not.

Congratulations. It is a proud moment, no doubt.

It makes me feel the same way when the women in my extended family get together and compare carry techniques, when we got our renewal training and the instructor asked if any of the women carried, and they all raised their hands.

We can be proud in the fact that our women take their self protection seriously and that we have such competent mates.

The 1st major ice storm is when my wife really understood ..

..while all of her co-workers, friends & relatives shivered in the cold & dark..

..but due to my automated inverter-based backup power system..

..wife, kids & I went on as if nothing had happened!

That is...except for my extended family seeking refuge after their homes became uninhabitable!
