This is the type of government we warned about, but 50% voted for.

The commie libs are frothing at the mouth to savage Woods, and increase government control till Stalin and Uncle Ho giggle in hell. He is right, he'll have trouble finding work but freedom isn't cheap, and hell will be paid in due time for the destruction of our former republic.

How our founders must weep in heaven, but we just keep pull'n for damnocrats.

His futile work prospect comments sounds like a sympathy ploy for a pat on the back and an offer. Yeah Hollyweird is full of liberal nutcases, but conservatives find work if they're good enough and don't let the commie bastards wear them down.

I heard this on the radio today. I was never a huge fan of the guy but I like him much more now than I did yesterday.

It takes great courage to come out publicly with that kind of admission in that slimy camp known as "Hollywood Actor".

It takes a lot of b***s for James Woods to stand up and speak his mind knowing that it might hurt his career. I too applaud him for standing up for the vets and letting people know his feelings. If he can't find work in Hollywood maybe he should consider a job on Capitol Hill.

Who is Gob, and his he/she the patron saint of actors?

Seriously, James Woods, thanks for coming out. Too bad Liberals treat people with Conservative views like gays were treated early in in their industry and society. So much for tolerance.

^^
This - Hollyweird may be a bastion of communism and political correctness but they still pray to the almighty dollar.

If a guy can make money for them - and Mr Woods certainly belongs on the A list - at worst B+ list - he has nothing to worry about. Duvall and Willis are examples of that.

Heck, there are alot of stars that do well in Indie productions that make big bucks so even HW isn't the be-all and end-all.

It's the old guy syndrome: If you're a guy, once you get to a certain age, you just don't give a **** anymore.

James Woods evidently also tweeted this great quote a few days ago: "...if you scratch away the surface of a leftist, you expose a fascist."

I've met him.

He's as Hollywood as it gets.

He's trying to "be one of the guys."

Yeah, he's one of the guys....the one with a pedicure.

And the talk of a 66 year old with his resume and connections being blackballed.....I guess ludacris is the word.

I'm pretty sure that if Pat Sajak left "Wheel of Fortune" that the big wheel would sieze up and never turn again. Not to mention all the grandmas that would storm the studio and burn it to the ground.

Because you've worked as an actor in Hollywood for how long?

I'm willing to bet that declaring oneself as a conservative is pretty much the death of one's career these days.

10, 15 or 20 years ago? Ya might get away with it. But I would venture a guess that things have changed.

Not sure anyone is trying to say he is "one of the guys" - it just appears he isn't your stereotypical left-wing Hollywood moron.

LOL!!

You made statements as if they're fact. I posted "I'm willing to bet" and "I'd venture a guess".

Big difference.

Bullsh-t. I said "sounds like", and there is also hard evidence of conservatives landing big roles in Hollywood. The only difference here is, you're not thinking clearly due to the thin air up there on that horse of yours.

Have a nice day.

Nooooooooo..........

What you said was "conservatives find work if they're good enough and don't let the commie bastards wear them down".

That is a statement made as if it's fact.

Since neither of us really know the truth, it's best to stick with "I imagine" or "maybe" or "I'd guess".
