Very funny. I like the scene of it driving/being pulled.

You know......the very first handguns were very much like your mini-cannon.

That's awesome. I love how it goes flying after it shoots unless it's strapped to a rock....lol.

For those who like finely machined examples.

Sadly they are totally out of stock. Could this be due to the fear of a pending assault weapon ban?

These simpler examples are only $40.

These guys are cruder looking, but less than $30

I confess these Coehorn mortars look like a ton of fun.

These other cannons in the previous post are all black powder units.
The one in the OP seems to use a standard .22 cal rimfire round.

But yet you are lighting a fuse to ignite this.

Do you have to disassemble the round and breech-load your cannon to use it?

It is muzzle loaded, in one of the pictures in the movie it shows the 2 bullets I pulled from a couple 22lr cartridges. I then used a little black powder and some wadding, topped with a .22 projectile.

The whole excersize was worthless because you didn't put four layers of denim in front of the egg.

As a kid we made a homemade cannon that used firecrackers for propellant and 1/4" steel ball bearings for bullets. Breach loaded with a screw breach. If you used material for wadding it was pretty accurate to 30 or so feet.
