'Splain me something...

I was just at the gas station and this old caprice pulls up. Rap blaring, car shakin and rattling like crazy. This 19-20 year old white kid gets out and goes in to buy 2 Black-n-Milds. None of that phases me. I see it all the time. This was all just stage setting.

What I don't understand is how this kid was driving with the seat reclined so much it was touching the back seat. Explain to me the mechanics of how that works. How is it even remotely comfortable? I tried it (in my Tundra) and only made it about 100 yards. It hurt my back. I'm only 35. Am I that old already? I don't get it.

Roll some weed into your black and mild wrapper, your back will feel much better.

Compared to the monumental mental difficiencies that young man is overcoming to drive a car and handle monetary transactions, I think his posture is the least of his problems.

That was huge in the 90's. Still see people do it every so often. I don't understand. I guess it's a fashion statement like wearing pants below your ass?

It is the transportation parallel of walking around town with the waistband of your pants at knee level.

I knew a guy who used to do that too. I don't know if he thought it was comfortable or what, all I know is that if he needs to suddenly react to something, he's not going to be able to control his car as easily as if he were sitting upright. You have to kind of sit halfway on the back of the seat and halfway on the bottom of the seat, you basically scootch way back, so you're up higher and can see over the dash while still leaning back. I don't see how it's comfortable, and it's a retarded way to drive, but whatever.

Where I came from, upstanding citizens who didn't wanted to be easily spotted by the cops or their "rivals" drove like that.

The ultimate effect was the exact opposite in that people looked even harder.

First off their called wiggers, that may hurt but its true.

Second, I personally enjoy that postistion, but only in a lazy boy not my Chevy.

Third, riding around like that keeps you low key from the cops. Bonus points if you can pull off the gangster turn..... Hook it hard left before you make a right.

Ya know that keeps your curb feelers and vouge tires fresh.

Ahh the days of being 18-20 years old. I used to blast music and even wore a silver chain. Never drove like that. Thankfully by 23-24 I grew out of that crap. I don't even listen to rap anymore unless it's some old hip hop from the 90's. My radio stays on SiriusXM sports radio now.

It's easier to duck down if someone takes a shot at him for roll'n through the wrong neighborhood.
