Well, the wheel may be back soon - in a smaller format. Beretta 92 #7 may be coming to visit and stay in a couple of months

Not the 9 I had before, but 7 is big enough for a "wheel"

Opinions on Brigadeer and Elite models...?

I have both in 96's and think they are really fast in shot to shot imes and control the snap of the 40 SW very good. I have to think that the heavy slide on a 92 would make for a ***** cat of a gun to shoot high round counts.

Those models are awesome. I am not one to buy used guns. Or, I would likely have an ELite II model. However, I must be honest... I really do not like the checkering Beretta uses. It's not sharp or deep enough (like on a 1911).

That was one thing I didn't like on the M9A1. I prefer the standard grip serrations on a regular 92FS. I seem to get a better grip with those than the shallow checkering.
