Stay vigilant. We actually need to reverse the tide. Gun Free Zones need to be eliminated. They are a hazard to public safety.

Due to inflation, my $.02 no longer matters.

The most important and effetive things we can do is to carefully choose the candidates for both state and federal elections in 2014 to make sure that they are indeed pro-gun candidates.

The second most imporant thing that we can do is to join the NRA if you are not currently a member, and encourage your friends and family members to join also. And rememer that NRA membreships are great gifts for birthdays and Christmas.

Finally, many states have some great pro-gun groups that are very effective in protecting the gun rights of citizens of their state and often work very closely with the NRA so you may want check-out those groups in your state to determine which is the most effective.

As a thank you I gave the NRA a contribution after it was announced that the bill died in the senate.

I hope the NRA goes on the offensive and gets some of our rights back.
