Well, that went well.

What happens when californicators take over CO. Ban guns, legalize pot…now everything is wonderful.

While I agree that it is irresponsible to smoke around other peoples children I do have to say that not everyone is inebriated when they smoke. For many, its a great way to deal with severe anxiety. A large number of people function just as fine when they smoke.

If some folks told me they were leaving the kids with grandma so they could go on vacation for the express purpose of getting baked, then yeah, I'd question their good judgement.

I'm not sure if the the solution to this action is to ban guns or ban marijuana. Whichever, I'm sure if we make one or the other illegal in Colorado then there will be no more shootings at large gatherings of people.

I was working downtown yesterday and saw the gathering through my office window before I left at 4pm. It looked like there were about five thousand people in the park at most.

As I walked by the park on the way to my car, the crowd near the edge of the park seemed like mostly non-threatening stoners and folks out to enjoy the first warn day in weeks. I have no idea about the crowd in the park who were listening to the rappers.

I stay away from crowds these days.

Thousands of people down there and shots are fired where the rappers are? Shocked I am. Just shocked.

Hippies and the average stoners aren't the only ones who go to these "smoke-out" events, gangbangers do too.

Significant overlap of those two vastly different groups when it comes to MJ use.

Kinda like when I used to go to liquor stores and take notice of what a vast cross section of society you'll find in one on any given night. Pick any social metric and you will see examples at both ends of the spectrum buying booze on any given night.

Good observation.
