Another Highly Trained Cop !

Unreal, everyday LEO conduct in this country !

A fourth amendment violation, should be worth at least 500,000 in the law suit.

Given that the woman was searched incidental to her arrest for driving on a suspended license, which was discovered when she was stopped for an equipment violation (headlight out), what 4th Amendment error are you seeing?

Have you ever arrested a female that concealed contraband/evidence in her bra?

I have. More than once.

Females concealing something in a bra is quite common.

A couple of other areas where they conceal are the main reasons for having a female officer complete the search, using rubber gloves.

Is this standard procedure in a similar situation?

She got busted for doing something illegal and was searched as a consequence. I see no issue here.

Having almost been stuck by junkies on a trauma, I'm aware of women keeping stuff there... So I see nothign wrong with what that officer did

It's one of several answers. Other people/places:

Use a female officer, or
Have the male run the pinky edge of his hand around and under the breast, or
Require a witness that can testify the searching officer didn't enjoy it.

Each approach has its problems.

This is SOP and has been for years, when there is no female officer available. Some Rural Department's do not have women officers. You are the one with the issue, not LE. It may come as a shock to you, but an officer is supposed to find drugs and make sure suspects are unarmed.

I've recovered a .25 cal Beretta from a bra.

Females get searched just as thoroughly as males.

OP you have much to learn about police work before posting and displaying your ignorance.

BossGodfrey, people asked a few questions... You were last on the forum on the 26th at 23:30. That would mean Sam Spade's and Newcop's questions were up.

But, then, you were not looking for any real world contradiction to your...
