Wife got hurt today

She is OK, thank you Jesus. she tripped over a plant stand and tore open her leg, a trip to the ER and 28 stitches later she is resting.

I am tired. thankful but tired.

Wow, Smith! I am glad she is okay!

SO many people are getting hurt.

Two weeks ago tomorrow, my mother fell down a flight of stairs at church. 3 doctors were at her side immediately. They didn't expect her to be conscious (sp) when they reached her, but she was. Despite constant urging from my sister and I she refuses to go to the doctor. She says she knows she didn't break any bones. I tell her it is more than her bones that I worry about. She did spend the rest of the day at one of the doctors homes. She has been in pain, off and on, but otherwise okay.

In the meantime, a co-worker of mine and my sister's mother fell down a flight of stairs around the same time. She
was immediately brain dead, and passed away.

God is good, and we have much to be thankful for.

I am thankful that your wife is okay!

This event has made me more determined to move closer to my mom soon!

Thanks and sorry to hear about your mom. I am a mixed bag tonight, I am really thankful

I also have some leftover adrenaline and a fair amount of me wants to beat the tar out of something/someone.

Good thing you were there!

My hubby and I work such opposite schedules...even after all these years...that ever since I fainted and broke my foot, he doesn't like for me to do anything when he isn't here. He's so afraid something will happen and I'll be all alone.

Looking forward to the summer when we do have time off together so I CAN work on projects while he's around the house to look after me!

He's very overprotective...but only because he thinks he has reason to be!

AND we are, too! I worry about him the same ways.

I get so upset when he doesn't take care of himself the way he should.

He has issues with his blood pressure; I put his medication out for him everyday....he doesn't take it when I have it sitting out for him!!!!

Oh! I forgot!

When I try to tell him about how I worry, too....He always says, "But that's different!"

So it must be that "Bullet Proof thing!"

Please pray for my husband this week.

We will receive some very important test results for him on the 24th.

I am thankful that your wife is okay!

God Bless you and yours!

Good night!

don't you just hate that drive? my better half had frequest flyer miles at the local e.r. 8 miles of red lights.

i will never admit what time i've made that drive in.

tell the mrs to r& r, and we'll be praying for her.

I won't tell you all about the trip I made when the swing frame fell on Sarah's head. I did have the benefits of blue lights and siren to speed up my trip.

Sarah got an ambulance ride for that , and I am still paying for that one.
