never doubt the healing powers of your own bed, and the privacy of your own poop-room.

Things are looking up. Good luck.

Congrats!

When you get home, make sure you remember which is which! In hospitals the difference is less important in my experience.

Congrats on the progress, all your hard work paying off!

SHE IS COMING HOME TODAY!!!

I think mom and dad are both feeling really nervous about the transition, and I have zero idea what will happen if the biopsy shows that there is still leukemia, but one bridge at a time.

I am a little concerned that people will think we no longer need help. While we will certainly need LESS, and no one overnight, the next couple of weeks she's not going to want to ever be alone, and there are times when dad and I have conflicts, so I've tried to let our support network know that. And entice them with FREE PARKING! :D

Food or beer works the best.
I'm glad she's coming home though. There is nothing worse than having a loved one in a hospital. Especially one that is far away.

After the hospital food, that would sound wonderful. Actually, Chinese sounds wonderful anytime! I'm glad to hear everyone is home.

Do more and spend more time than you can handle now. You'll be glad you did. Life is very short. No regrets. It's easier in the long run. Sounds cheap but google things you can do so you can look/read back in the future if you choose. Better to have and not need than need/want and not have. Rule #1, right?

Best wishes, hope your pain is eased by the decisions you make today. I lost both my parents before 30. I was'nt wise enough to have used the advice I've given but wish I had. I believe that makes me an expert of sorts. Good luck, it's never easy.

Hope the test results are good. A few days ago I found out through the grapevine my EX-BF has lung cancer.

Sorry! Everyone has been home all weekend so I've been resting a lot. Things are more stable. I think the more she sits up, moves around, etc, the better she is feeling. It's still not great, but compared to where she was even a week Ago, it's pretty amazing.

Make sure you all gets lots of rest so that things don't overwhelm you and she keeps her strength levels built up. I pray that she is with you for many more years and that her health continues to improve.
