Any Mazda Miata fans in here?

I used to laugh and make fun of them until I drove one, then I HAD to own one (as a second vehicle, of course).

I'm a happy owner of a '99! Anyone else like them?

I love mine. Luckily for me I'm secure in my manhood. I get harassed by all of my friends and then I make fun of them for their big trucks. Overcompensating?

They make great second vehicles. It's like a go cart with a seat belt and an airbag.

I use to have a Toyota MR2. Loved that car. I use to think of it the same way. I put a easy 200,000 miles on that car. Wish I still had it.

Had a '91' and drove it for 8 years with absolutely no problems.

For the money, one of the best automotive values out there--providing you can fit in it. Great handling, good brakes, enough acceleration to be fun--sort of like an MGB with more power and much better design/reliability.

You'd be surprised how many Porsche drivers end up with a modded Miata for their track car.

Love 'em. Street legal go-karts. And cheaper than a kart. :D

I also have a '99, just all kinds of fun in the twisties. I bought it with the intention of putting a blower and other mods on but I don't think I'd care much for handcuffs. Miatas are solid cars.

<----- also has a big diesel truck and two Harleys, manhood intact.

Love Miatas current plans are to sell the SRT4 and buy me a miata for a back up car to the bike and autoX.

Cheap used and reliable.

Can I add to the question NA NB or NC? I'm a NA fan.

Oh course, he would probably need googles to take it on the road...

my sister had stock one, it was just a tiny little plain jane car.

my cousin the gearhead also had one. it was a freaking beast.

if i had the money for the car and all the fun mods i'd have one myself.

I wouldn't exactly say that he "fit".

A couple of my cousins and their wives/husbands retired to Arizona, everyone in their retirement community owns one. They have a ball with them.

I know Miatas are gay, but after a certain age you stop caring what other people think.
