Hi Point prices?

Out of curiousity, I was wondering what Hi Point handguns were going for in everyones area? I bought a .45ACP JHP model yesterday for $175 with a box of ammo. The guy said he only shot half a magazine through it and I believe him. It looks brand new and came with the box, papers, and everything else it comes with new.

However, I see most Hi Points listing for $200-$225 now in all conditions without ammo. The same JHP .45ACP model I bought today sells in the local shops for $229 plus background check and tax.

Is this just a normal trend for these weapons or is this panic pricing?

Normal to high. I think all prices have gone up somewhat, with some people having rediculous expectations when they are selling. I think all things considered in this market, you paid a fair price.

We sell them for $179.00

I am shocked the people that buy them pass the BG checks. Seriously.

They seem to have gone up slightly but still fairly low. I grabbed up a C9 for $80 just prior to the onset of the big panic.

I know they do attract a "certain demographic" but for the causal gun owner that puts a firearm in his dresser and never touches it again it beats a Raven or other SNS

that is how I got my C9. a family member's wife found his firearm and said he couldn't have it. so he gave it to me.

although he told me it was a Hi-Power which caused just a little disappointment when he showed up

He's actually wrong, after 8-9 shots with a 9mm bullet, you actually get a text on your phone saying "You are being shot at by a 9mm, don't worry, just ignore him and walk away."
