CT Rocks

At the risk of getting a little teary-eyed, I just wanted to post how much this place rocks. I've been on CT for a few years now - before working as a cop, through my time as a reserve and eventually moving on to a full-time gig and re-locating back to the West (but not soon enough). This has always been a great gathering place for all things - seriousness, friendly banter, troll-bashing, info gathering, good, ol' BS'ing, you name it.

Recently I asked for advice on transitioning pistol platforms and weapon lights. I received excellent, well-thought out replies to my topic. In addition, I was PM'ed by several regulars here (you know who you are!) with additional advice, policies and even more information. How awesome is that?

In short, I just wanted to say "thanks" to everyone here. There are several law enforcement forums out there but in my mind, this one is THE BEST. Thanks to the folks on CT and to the forum owners and mods. CT ROCKS!

If we don't look out for and assist each other, I'm not sure who else will........

I think it's the mandatory POST 5 hour block of "Sensitivity Training" that made us this way.

How many did you have to do?

The last "mandatory" course I had to do was 5 hours... and it was 5 hours too long.

I have heard of the academies nowadays making it into a multi-day block of instruction... man, I am glad I did mine a long time ago.
