Coin value?
I bought these today and I was just wondering what they were worth? I bought these only becuase I knew what the silver spot value was but I dont know if these even go for that. Each coin is one troy ounce .999 silver and both have the same basic layout. One says "BLESS ALL THE CHILDREN ('06)" and the other says "HAPPY HOLIDAYS ('12)".
I have been stocking up on silver and I bought these just as silver weight. I paid $40 all together but I was wondering if they were even worth that?

Each is worth melt, so about $28.84 for each coin. $40 for both was a good deal.

If you paid 40$ for both, you got a hell of a deal. Silver is just over 28$ an ounce right now. You can almost always sell to a dealer at spot value so technically they are worth a minimum of 56$. Generic rounds are nothing special but will always hold for spot value.

I'm always skeptical of coins like this so I stick with Eagles, Philharmonics, etc...
If they're .999 Silver then you did well.

I tested them out by first weighing them, then doing the bite test. I know not to do this on normal coins (they have ~10% copper anyway) but I couldnt imagine these being worth much more than spot anyway.
And I was figuring $40 was a good deal, I was just worried that these wouldnt go for that much but I guess they arent much different than normal bars or rounds.

Those are actually rounds, not coins. And $40 for the pair is a great buy.

If I am not mistaken, these will have an HM on them somewhere. I think that means they are from the Highland mint. I have a few of these rounds. Everyone here is right, they will definitely go for spot value. Or, you could go on e-bay and get up to $50 or so for one of them. (People on e-bay would buy a sack of raw biscuit dough if they thought they were being out-bid on it.)
