That's the wrong attitude. If you don't agree, you should still voice your opinion. Tell the Colorado Governor how you feel.

Yes. And it did so well before I got here, probably well before I was even born. And since I am not a NYS resident, I have no say in their politics. And even if I did, I would be in the minority, at least as far as NYC is concerned.

I know what you meant.

I was just taking a shot at the corruption level of this administration.

I certainly would let the CO governor know how I feel, but since I am not a constituent of his, I doubt it would do anything.

As a Californian, my focus has been on what is happening here in my State. The Feds are much less of a concern to me.

The key is here. Sure, it isn't in our initial package, but we will continue to try.

This signals lack of support...it'll never pass federally.

We are getting our arses kicked here in CT...it's BAD.

If it actually passes, I'm outta here without question. If it doesn't, I'm still outta here. This place drains the very soul of a man.

Around Democrats, Never Relax!

I have heard that the Democrats may try to add these gun control measures to other bills which have nothing to do with gun control.

This is how Obama Care was passed. Originally congress was working on a bill to help military veterans with purchasing homes. Once the bill got to the floor in the Senate, Obama Care was added as an amendment and the original purpose of the bill was scrapped.

Never Relax!

Now I'm hoping to pick up a lightly/never used AR around July at a discount from one of the panic buyers. I felt all along the AWB was DOA... now universal background checks... that's the next thing to defeat. If we end up beating all this back, after Newtown... it will only be because the anti's didn't mobilize fast enough to seize on the emotion of what happened.

I doubt we'll be so lucky next time

As for state issues... All of you who stayed home last election, or voted for "pro gun Democrats" because they had no interest in your guns... I hope you learned your lesson.

I've written reps in CO more than once, and I don't live there. Personally, I'd rather fail in the wake of trying, than fail from apathy.

Besides, state borders shouldn't separate us in this cause.

Exactly...and don't relax around certain Republicans and any other elected officials who love to rule rather than uphold constitutional and individual state's rights liberty for their constituents. IF they don't pass her AWB on the 2 separate voting rounds that Reid gifted her with, they will just table Feinstein's AWB until next time when they hope to be in a more powerful position.

Wanenmacher's is in like two weeks, I cant wait to see what types of deals can be had. All those people that maxed out their credit cards have payments coming due and the bubble is popping.

What do mean, "What IS happening"? It has been happening for a long time. And with Moon Beam Brown in office, it is all over but the crying.

It's not over. They're going to push it as an Amendment.
