g19 shoots high

my g19 with trijicon night sights shoots high, at 15 yards its 6-7 inches high.

Tested the gun slow fire with 2 different shooters. Definitely the sights.
How do is shift poi?

There are two different sizes of sights. It is possible you installed the wrong sights for your model.

it was a blue label gun, glock packaged the sights for a gunsmith to install. There fixed so no idea how to raise or lower.

The rear sight can be replaced with a lower one. Check with Glockmeister or Glock Inc. and you'll see the different sight heights and an adjustable sight. All factory offerings. I believe Trijcon and Meprolite both offer adjustable sights. I have them on my G19. If you look at the Trijcon site you may find the the wrong sights were supplied for the gun. Should have been the GL01 p/n. Hope that's the only reason it shoots high. I wouldn't think ammo from 115 to 147 gr would be that much off @ 15 yds with the standard sights. Just my SWAG.

According to Ameriglo, you need either a front sight 0.072 in. taller or a rear 0.072 in. lower, or a combination to make up the 0.072. This is to make a 6.5 in. change.

There is a tool that make it easy. I've used it to change sight on mine. I've never done it without the tool so I can't say how easy or difficult it is to do.
Also @ Glockmeister you'll see the standard rear heigth for G19 is 6.5mm. The range of heights goes from 6.1 to 7.3mm. In Trijicon also.

Anyone else have a gun from Glock without the sights installed? My Glocks all came with sights installed although none were night sights. But I have handled a couple new Glocks at stores with night sights already on them.

My Glocks came with Glock night sights........never just lying in the box.
The 9mm should have the 6.5mm rear sight. All the Glock front sight posts are the same height.

gunstore said there was a new regulation reclassifying night sights as radioactive devices so they cant be imported. So i could order mine with night sights but they wouldnt be put on at factory. Also, i have no idea how to tell what height i have

I've sent mine to the factory to have night sights installed. All I had to send was the slide and it was a time when they were selling them at half the gun shop price.

You can measure them to find the height. Measure from the dove tail base to the top of the sight.

It would probably help if you posted a picture of the front and rear sight.
