Here's part of my reason for supporting that film...

It was from the "father of cyberpunk" stories. If that movie failed (as it did), then there was little chance that any others in the same vein were going to be made. And that's exactly what's happened.

Neuromancer is a FAR better story, and attempts to turn it into a film keep bottoming out. Most recently was an update from last August that said they were ready to start casting, bu so far....nothing.

Some movies suck. I nearly got thrown out of the theatre at Johnny Mnemonic for laughing quite loudly*. But sometimes you've gotta buy the crappy product to show that the interest is there (see also: Batman movies - even the bad ones make money).

*I saw the film while home on leave. I started laughing quiet loudly when they showed someone repeat-fire an AT-4. Not surprisingly, the other film goers didn't get it and didn't know why I was laughing at the action-climax of the film.

Zardoz, the wife and I watched it. We didn't realize that Sean Connery made a porn before. We were wrong. That movie was horrible.

Nacho Libre with Jack Black.
I like Jack Black but it wasn't his best moment.

Plenty of hate here for Batman and Robin. I REALLY liked that movie, because I reminded me of the Adam West-era Batman show. I recognized it as that immediately, and enjoyed the movie. I do think they unnecessarily screwed with Batgirl, though. I was surprised it got such bad reviews. It sure as hell didn't measure up to Batman Returns, though.

I also liked Star Wars - the Phantom Menace. Sure, Jar-Jar was a distraction, but it was otherwise a great movie IMHO. I actually paid to see the 3D version last year in a theater. Star Wars - Attack of the Clones, though, was painful. They just should have had the Dooku-Anakin-Obi-Yoda lightsaber fight in the beginning of the movie, so we could get it over with and go home. THAT was worth the price of admission. Yoda v. Dooku, anyway.............

Some of the afore mentioned films do indeed suck the big one, but no one has referenced possibly the greatest waste of celluloid of all time "Pootytang". Ya gotta see this one for a complete frame of reference.

Those of you who keep saying that Plan 9 From Outer Space is the worst movie ever must be bad movie newbies apeing what you have heard some where. Plan 9 is the Citizen Kane of bad movies, it has its charms. There is Grade Z shlock that exists which would severely strain the combined forces of the MST3K crew, Elvira, and every local horror host of the past 50 plus years, and thats even powered by free beer!
So if you kids really want to see the worst movies ever made go forth and explore, ...unless you're chicken.

Just happened on it today for the first time..... Broken Arrow. John Travolta, Howie Long. Just plain dumb. Couldn't make it through to the end. But then Travolta never has inspired me as an actor. But in real life I guess I really respect the guy. Same with Long.

Parasite 3D . You get to watch a bunch of bikers kick the crap out of Ed Begly, Jr. and then trash his Countach by beating it with chains and pipes. HH

I tried watching Watchmen about 3 times. Have never finished it. So incredibly boring and 3 or 4 hours long if I recall. It gets my vote for one of the worst, considering the potential.
