The Namesake. Walked out of the theatre in the middle of it.

I like good movies. I like bad movies, sometimes. But this movie was the most boring thing I had ever seen in my entire life.

I'm a friend of one of the co-stars in "The Room." For as bad as the movie was, apparently being on set was much, much worse/bizarre/strange/creepy.

I do remember it but I have never seen it. And I'm normally a big Sean Connery fan but fortunately by the time I got around to seeing it I had heard how bad it was.

Seen all the way through? Rubber.

Walked out in the middle of? Battle Beyond the Stars.

Zardoz was high art compared to these.

The Human Centipede & Eyes Wide Shut. Both utterly dumb.

The ones that stand out in my mind have been mentioned.

Vanilla Sky and Royal Tanenbaums, fell asleep about 10 minutes in and woke up at the very end.

As far as having seen the whole movie. Thanks to the Netflix streaming, Human Centipede (I don't know why I actually left it playing, I guess I was just curious to see what was going to happen next), and I will throw another one into the mix...

Hobo with a Shotgun. I was flipping through the channels one night and happened upon it. I decided to watch it because I heard it was "cool". I'm sorry, cult classic or not, the movie was pure garbage. I only let it play all the way through because I was on my computer the whole time it was on AND it was short. The 70's feel was remotely cool, but everything else about it was manure.

My worst movies have been mentioned:

Plan 9 From Outer Space. I believe this is considered historically the worst movie ever made, and I agree. A lot of movies that are horrible, actually end up being kinda funny. This movie is just bad and boring. There is nothing good about it, nothing that can be laughed about... just bad.

Battlefield Earth. I liked that book. Thought it was (is) well written with a cool plot line. Kinda figured any movie made about it has to have some redeeming qualities. The movie that was made is just nonsensical. Which makes little sense, considering the amount of money spent on it, a good storyline from the book, and some pretty good actors.

I like bad movies (Killdozer comes to mind) and will watch damn near anything.

BUT

The single worst movie I've ever even heard of came out when I was at Ft Rucker (Home of Army Aviation) and just about everyone was vibrating waiting for it to hit the theater in Enterprise.

Firebirds

It didn't even finish the first week before it was pulled from the theaters. At Rucker. Oh. My. GOD. I walked out about 2/3 of the way through and I was one of the last ones in the theater. It was a sold out show. It wasn't even bad enough in the right way to be a good, bad movie. It was just horrible.

Oh MAN! I save that movie for "What would you want to watch during dinner?" "Oh, anything"

For some reason I never hear "I don't care" or "anything's fine" twice from the same person

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil......A bunch of us went to see it in college, it got to the point I was trying to go to sleep during the show. It turned out none of us wanted to stay for the whole thing but we all just sat through it thinking the rest wanted to stay.

The last exorcism of Emily Rose Part 2. I nearly fell asleep.

I read the bad reviews, and didn't think it could be that bad. It was.

The worst movie ever would be The Baby 1973. It's on youtube if anyone is interested in seeing an awesomely bad movie.

Second place: Big Bad Momma.
Hey - it was a different time - when movies were about pushing the nudity-bounds in legitimate theaters. IIRC, you get to see Angie's Dickenson in that one.

TRL - I thought it was critically acclaimed. It was an hour too long. Honestly, I wanted to see more than a few of those guys blown to smithereens. Just slow slow slow without making me care about the characters.
