I might get flamed a bit, but I thought The Passion of the Christ was just terrible.

The Room.

Danny Wiseau produced, directed, wrote, and starred in the movie.
The writing is HILARIOUS. I suggest you watch at least some of it and have a good laugh with some friends.

I always thought the same thing about the sword. No way you could make a sword that will come apart (especially without any visible system to keep the parts together) that could survive even two hits in a swordfight.

Back in college we discovered a refund guarantee at Blockbuster, if we were disappointed with a movie, they gave us a free rental. So we started randomly grabbing from among the stuff that you'd never PAY to see, because hey, its free, right?

So every day we'd return a movie and complain about how bad it was, then pick out another probably-bad movie, and repeat the cycle. Most of these movies were so bad we couldn't even finish them.

A manager soon confronted us amd accused is of abusing the policy. He suspected we were complaining about movies that were actually good, just to get free rentals. We dared him to watch ANY of the movies we had complained about and tell is they were good.

The next day, he apologized.

I think he tried to watch the last 5 movies we had gotten under the policy, and I think he actually watched them in their entirety.

Sorry, no titles.

You're gonna get crucified for saying that.
