My new Sig SP2022 in .357 Sig, night sights...
This is my second 2022, my first was in 9mm and I sold it to fund my Sig M400. I rarely miss any gun once sold but the only two I can think of that I've sold and wish I had another was the 2022 and G19. Still on a waiting list for the G19. I'm also a fan of the Sig 357 round and this one had been sitting in the glass case for a week calling my name!! Has night sights to boot. Of course, Academy has had two types of ammo on the shelves for weeks, 10mm and .357 Sig. I go in today, all gone. New shipment on Tuesday but I do have 30 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 125gr BJHP. I will to shoot it until I get some range ammo.
Sig SP2022
Yes, .357 Sig
Its big brother, Sig 226 Navy
Night Sights
A size comparison of the G17, Sig 2022, Sig 226 Navy and Walther PPX.

Congrats, Top Gun Supply probably has the 40 barrel for that.

Thanks, good to know. The .40 barrel is easier to find than the .357, or so I read. Interesting in that 40/357 2022 comes without the loaded indicator and has an internal extractor. I hope this one is as trusty as my 9mm version was.

My 9mm is one of my favorite 9s and my .40 is likewise.
I don't have any .357 Sig guns and it being the one caliber I don't have in the Sigpro series, I may "round that out" if I get an opportunity.

Very nice indeed! I've got one in 9mm too. I love the way it shoots. Absolutely buttery smooth! I really wish I had bought it in .40 now though since finding .40 nowadays is so much easier then 9mm.

Shot 115 rounds through it today, all I could find. I had some Speer Gold Dot 125gr BJHP so I shot 15 of the 40 rounds I had. Found some PDX1 so ordered a few boxes of those. So in all,
50 rounds of WWB 125gr FMJ
50 rounds of WWB 125gr JHP
15 rounds of Speer GD 125 BJHP.
I will say this, this trigger, as compared to my previous 2022 in 9mm is a bit gritty but I'm sure will smooth out with more usage.
I see that this 2022 does not have a load indicator and has an internal extractor...my 2022 in 9mm had the load indicator and external extractor. This gun was made/finished on 12 Feb 13 so it's relatively new.

Academy has them for $449, at least the one down by my house in Corpus. I've seen both the 40 and 9mm. I jumped on the 357 Sig version with night sights when I saw it. They had a 9mm version with night sight as well but didn't want another 9. I will eventually get a 40 barrel to shoot that as well.

Your 9mm with the LCI was most like a German gun from the French contract overrun, that's what I have. The new one is an American made.

Interesting. I do remember the grip said Sig Pro on my old one, Sig Sauer on this on. Can't tell any difference in quality other than the gritty trigger which did not exist with my first 2022.
