Mako Group NFR drop in handguard?

Supposedly this is issued to IDF special forces. I think it looks decent and I've been wanting to add a light, sling, and foregrip for a while now. Is this a good option or should I just go all out with a free float handguard? Looks good for the money but I wanted to ask first, my AR is plain Jane as can be besides the AIM Point PRO.

My AR is carbine length and looks like this:

If I go the free float path I'm liking the Samson Evolution

Spend the extra $15 and get Daniel Defense EZ CAR if you want drop in.

If you want free float, I would look at anything Daniel Defense, with Centurion then Troy in a distant second and third.

I second the motion. DD is where it's at.

I won't spend any more money on anything from MakoDefense.

Hmm one of the things I liked about the Mako drop in rail is that it is narrower than the Troy and DD versions. I hear you guys though, thanks for the input.
