Best night sights for a G19?

Hey guys, Just recently purchased my first Glock, the Glock 19, and am looking for some good night sights. Any suggestions?

In before the move to Sights, Optics and Lasers Forum

For the OP, my favorite night sights are AmeriGlo I-Dot Pro (with Trijicon tritium lamps). You can read my review at http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/show...73&postcount=5

I had resisted for years to get Tritium Sights for my G-19 as none I had found had fully adjustable rears. 4 months ago I saw and bought a set of MeproLights that have fully adjustable rears. They are out of sight Great!

+1, especially with the yellow rear & green front. There are none better, IMO.

Meprolights are what I ran on most of my Glocks. However, my current G19 has Trijicon sights on it and I like those, too.

I just stuck some Trijicon HD's on my G26 and G23. Far and away the easiest front sight to see(day or night) of any night sight I have ever used.
They aren't cheap(about 130 bucks per set) but I plan on putting them on most of my other Glocks when $$$ permit.

I have tried four different sights on the G19/23 platform and found for my purposes, the Trijicon GL01 night sights to the best. They let the right amount of light past the front post to the rear aperture, are low profile with no sharp edges, and are snag free. Great for a carry gun.

I feel like a goldfish again. I truly dont recall this topic being adressed, like, ever...

By the way, can I shoot lead bullets through my Glock?

++ TRUGLO'S - I have the green/green "BRITE•SITE™ SERIES - TFO" on my Glock 32, which is a "near-twin" of your Glock 19.

* CNC-machined steel construction and are very visible in the daytime, as well as in the dark.

Tritium is useless. it can be seen in the dark. if it is dark you do not see the target. when there is no light the tritium sights are the worst

Ameriglo Hack's are what I am putting on my Gen 4 Glock 22 plain rear sight with serrations and a green tritium front with an orange outline:

I just put some Trijicon HDs on my glock 19 and I am very happy with them. I just also put some Ameriglo night sights on my M&P shield and they are nice as well but in my opinion the HDs are easier to see in daytime. Quality wise both sets are nice.

Your comment doesn't make any sense.

Tritium sights are used for low light conditions. Of course for zero light you will need an external light source.
