Waking the Dragon--How Feinstein fiddled

One of the best pro-gun editorials I've ever read. And it's from a college student.

Pretty good.

I sometimes wonder if anyone truly opposed to the 2A would take the time to read his article or the related links he provided. I kind of have my doubts. I can imagine the grief he might have had to go through at school for his views, which is kind of a statement of the times.

I'd say most anti gunners wouldn't give that article the time of day, per say. The Feelings and emotions over run facts and logic with those kind of people.

That was a hell of a good article! Anyone into social media needs to share this as many places as they can.

Good article. But, can anti-gunners understand it? Their world view is significantly different, based on what they imagine could be, not what is.

"Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Imagine no possession
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world" : Beatles, Imagine

If one can ignore the history of governments, or believes we can overcome the fact we are genetically predators, or able to ignore the 'one to three' percent of us born as psychopaths, then disarming all is imaginable. A step toward "Living life in peace".

Certainly a defensible desire. We think they are delusional, they think we are cynical, with little imagination. Fortunately, the U.S. Constitution resolved this issue with the Second Amendment. As a Constitutional Republic, core principles are beyond debate by either side.

Articles like this will help those able to appreciate its message. But we need to vigorously defend the Constitution for those who can't.

From what little he shares about his background, I would say that calling him a college student is like calling Einstein smart. He is at the very least not a traditional college student and most certainly a man in every sense of the word.

I doubt many anti-gun type individuals will read more than a few paragraphs.

Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, usually that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards that are earned.

And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.

He makes a great point about the Texas fertilizer plant explosion. The media doesn't care about it because it doesn't further an agenda, and it didn't occur in their precious northeast corridor.
