What is the best value kydex paddle for G36?
I'm in the market for a value priced kydex paddle holster for around the house. I have looked at Fobus, Uncle Mike, Blackhawk, etc. Does anyone have any experience with which are of reasonable quality? Thanks in advance for any info!

Check out Comp-Tac.com
They make the paddle holster specifically to your make and model. I've been very happy with my gear from them.

I've seen some sites say the 36 uses the same holster as the 26, and some say the 19 (I realize the only difference is barrel length). Has anyone used the same holster for either combo of these guns?

The dimensions for the those guns are all different. The 36 is longer than the 26 and slide is thinner than both the 19 and 26. Find a holster that caters to just the 36. The comp-tac holster will be molded around the 36 for a perfect fit every time.

I have a Galco avenger and a CB supertuck for my previous G19 and my G36 fits in both just fine.

FOBUS and Blackhawk aren't kydex. Don't think Uncle Mike's is either. They are plastic. FOBUS is about the lowest quality holster line out there. UM is about the same. Blackhawk makes good holsters, but they aren't very concealable. Note that paddle holsters are still intended to be worn on a belt.

That's right, the frame size between in G19 and the G36 is pretty close.

Correct. While it is normally never adviseable to use a holster designed for a different family of weapon, the 36 usually precisely fits holsters made for .40 caliber glocks.

i also like comp-tac paddle holsters. the belt holsters are nice too if you need a light compatible holster but nothing beats the easy on/off of their paddle designs. i have one for my 19s and 17s.

also should have mentioned comp-tac offers a "slide" version that will fit your 26, 19, and 17.

I've had great luck and comfort with my Fobus GL2 for over a dozen years now. Great value to say the least.

You could always try the old Bianchi company.
