I've reloaded since the 70's. I merely selected that round as an over the counter item as it's apparent that 99% of shooters don't.

Great propellant! It isn't the best at powder flow. but the loads hit very hard.

I know a lot of guys that like it. I bought a pound back in 2008 and still have half of it. I get better speeds and accuracy with 2400. BUT - if you want a huge fireball and massive blast wave blowing your hair back, this is the powder for you.
By the way, since this is a .357 mag thread, Alliant pulled their data for BD and 125's.

I recall BB 125gr doing 1500+fps in a 4" Sp101 and 1300+ from the same gun using 158gr . Pretty decent in a small frame revolver. Even their 158gr .38sp was pushing 1100fps. This was on the Gunblast site.

I don't have a chrono yet, but the 125gr Barnes .357 is HOT. It's noticeably hotter than Hornady 125gr XTP, which is noticeably hotter than Remington 125gr SJHP.

Warp, I don't doubt they're hot, but more flash and boom and felt recoil don't necessarily mean it's going faster than another load.
