Here we go again,

If you stating she did in fact have a DNR in place can you point to such evidence?

Just some advice -
Glocktalk is a melting pot of many talents.
There are many people here from all walks of life.
On this thread alone, there are more than a handfull of MD's who have commented. I've counted a surgeon, an OMFS, an ER doc, and a medical school professor to start...

Your number may be correct in a very narrow sense - 50+% survival of "all cardiac arrests" is physiologically impossible. Your number, if indeed correct, represents a very small subset of all cardiac arrests. you obviously do not know what your numerator and your denominators are for your number.

He obviously does not know how that percentage came about. For all we know, it's 53% of all witnessed arrest from drowning, younger than 30, at a summer swim camp on Tuesdays with a squadron of lifeguards on duty at all times.

On the other hand, I knew a hospital that touted an 70+% survival rate on their Code-Blue's. Problem was, they called a code on just about anything -- pt falling out of bed, seizures, pt in rapid afib... etc.

Why you running candy? Don't run, you'll just be humiliated tired. Not by me, I'm obviously a light weight in august company. Like a cat playing with a mouse before it bites the head off. I may not know the species that produced the feces, but I know feces when I hear it make that "flop" sound.
