Bolt carrier group available
Hey Guys, just picked up several from American Spirit Arms today( $215) They are guaranteed to have them in 2 weeks and if you order on the phone you wont be billed until they ship.A little more than I wanted to pay but I was so sick and tired of seeing posts on available BCG that day and they were always gone that day!Could not find anything bad on the company on line just good stuff about them.
Let me know how you guys feel about them ,I would appreciate it.

I agree they need to post something about the BCG other than;
"Mil-spec AR-15 bolt assembly
Hard chrome lined carrier with hard chrome finish
One of the finest bolt carrier assemblies on the market"
That is just not enough info to justify the $200+ price IMO. I would buy one tonight but the fact that they do not list the specs to me is suspect. I know nothing about this company and certainly have no ill will towards them.
These should be in stock within a week and I feel much better about buying from them as they list some specs.

If you contact the company you listed let them know we want at least a few spec before we buy.

was my response from email
George ,
The bolts are made with Carpenter steel ..
Heat treated ,shot peened and Mag particle inspected to MIL-Spec ..\
Thank you for your support
They have been making lowers since 98 and I can't find any bad reviews just people prasing there products and I was very impressed with there shop video.
Correct me If I am wrong but didn't RCA pretty much pop up over night? You cant find anything about them on line. They can make all kinda of claims about BLACKNITRIDEPLUS, for all I know that may flake right off.Don't get me wrong they look fantastic,I would just like to hear some reviews especially from a company that new.

Don't look like the gas key is staked in the pic on their site. Is a staked gas key part of the whole "mil-spec" thing?

All that mil-spec talk sounds great, but it's worth nothing if the gas key fasteners are not staked. Looks like they used red locktite on the screws because I can't see any staking on the manufacturers pic.

This thread reads as if OP is a shill for this company.
And the BCG is not mil-spec.
I refuse to deal with a company that lies about their product. Or that doesn't even know what mil-spec is, but tries to tell me the product meets it.

I don't "know", because they don't say what the specs are.
But I would wager $ it isn't.
Hell, the picture they show doesn't even have staked keys, lulz

I noticed that as well. On the chrome BCG it is staked. On the blue one it is not. Who knows...
I think they need to put a little more info on the site. But in todays world I would imagine they are selling them just fine without that info.

Unfortunately, yes. Lots of people buying things and they don't even know what they are getting.
