Missouri bullet?

Well I am pretty low on .45 and I never really shoot lead but it looks like the only thing out there.

I seem to remember these guys were pretty good and they say their about 3-4 weeks out.

Looking for a 230 grain round nose for target/ IDPA. I don't push them that fast.

Any thoughts?

They make a lrn 230.
I tried 500 of them,no issues whatsoever.
Nothing but good things to say about MB here

I have been using S&S Casting with great success. 230 gr LRN and 200 gr LSWC.

I may give MB a try in the near future.

I have used Missouri Bullets and SnS Casting both in 9mm and 40 S&W. Never a problem with either.

Missouri bullet is good to go ! The quality is good, no sloppy casting marks, they are the right hardness.
I use 9mm, 38/357, 45, and i'm waiting on 2,000 40cal to hit my door. Don't hesitate !

So is Missouri bullet selling to everyone now or just their regular previously registered customers? A while back I was going to order from them and then they put out a memo on their site saying they won't be accepting new customers or something along those lines due to high demand.

Thanks guys I just ordered a 1000 of the 230g softball. They are an 18 bh. Any advice with WST or WSF?

The good news is now that I ordered this will trigger MTG to open up the order page!

I registered and the order went through so I guess they are selling to any one.

I've shot quite a bit of Missouri bullets, they're my go to lead bullet.

I've shot a little over 1,000 MBC lead bullets in 38 and 45acp. No problems whatsoever. Their Facebook page indicates that business is booming. No surprise there.

6.0gr WSF is my load for that bullet. That's my #1 selling load in .45 ACP here. I switch that bullet out with my own cast 230gr TC in the warm weather and use MB's LRN bullets in winter when I don't cast.

There good to go. Try a box of the 200-RNFP as well. I used to like the 230 RN until I tried the 200-RNFP.

I have used missouri BUllets since 2008 in all of my handguns. I have several that have never shot a single round of factory ammo or jacketed, 100% Missouri Bullets. That being said, they offer a discount code for THR members, I believe its THR-ORIGINAL but you want to double check that. Its good for 5% off. They also offer discounts for active duty or retired military. They are good people.

Thanks for the comments. I ordered a box to try in the .45 mostly what I shoot. Once I know I like them I'll order a boat load and be done with it.

Just about everything I own is good to go with lead anyway. The G19 would be the only one that is "note safe with lead" and for the price of a KKM barel, heck it may head to lead as well.

Simply can't find jacketed and its getting hard to afford it!

At one point they were considering that but decided not to go through with it, they sell to everyone now. You can also buy their bullets through Powder Valley and a few other websites.

Waiting on my Missouri Bullet order to arrive, ordered about
3 weeks ago, 230gr .45RN, and 2 styles of 9mm, some
RN and some Cones, also some cones for my .38 Special.
I have used Missouri and Precision Delta, both GTG.
My Starline 9mm and .38 Special brass is in transit too.

I quit panic buying and getting excited. As the man said,
patience is the word of the day.
I find a dealer that accepts back orders, I order, then wait.
It will get back to normal, it just may take a little longer this
time.

I ordered 5k rounds last week from them. 9, 40 and 45. Those and my XL 650 should get here about the same time.

My G22 with stock barrel is good with lead. Blasphemy I know. It does get some lead build up but no worse than my conventionally rifled guns. Lead strips out of the Glock barrel easier than my convetional rifled guns. Go figure.

I've put thousands of lead rounds through this gun with no issues. Don't get stupid with max loads, clean the barrel every 100 to 200 rounds, things should be fine.

All the Best,
D. White

Hang in there. I have had an order of 9mm "small ball" on order for a couple of months or so. Got the shipping notification in today's email.
Missouri is a good outfit. Just a little backlogged like most ammo and component suppliers.
