Mossberg has just what you have requested. Ships with five or ten round AR-15 magazine but will accept the larger ones. Just don't try to shoot from the prone position using one of the military-stack sixty round ones.

I agree completely, those who continue to vilify Jim Zumbo are doing more damage to gun owners than the Brady Bunch ever could. Zumbo is one of the most knowledgeable and talented big game hunting writers in modern times. He has always been a promoter of hunting, hunter access, and hunters rights.

As for the turds who claim to be pro gun yet use the derogatory term "Fudds" to describe hunters, fellow shooters, they are every bit as despicable as those who work to destroy our 2A rights. I'd wager that not one among those contemptible sops has ever invested a tiny fraction of the effort to promote the shooting sports as Zumbo has.

How did you feel about him when he said that military style weapons had no place in hunting? I guess if you agreed then you're not a hypocrite so I would need to rescind my accusation.

However it is my opinion you are both wrong in regards to the issue.

I only allow hunting on my land if you use an AK/AR with a full mag. No high powered sniper rifles allowed. What do you say to that?

My concern with the statement about them having no place in hunting is you're giving the anti's fuel to get rid of them because a lot of them (erroneously) see the only legitimate use of firearms as hunting.

If you don't want to hunt with them that's fine. Your business. If landowners don't want them being used to hunt on their land, fine their land, their right, their business.

I just don't think we need to be shouting from the rooftops military style rifles are not for hunting for two reasons. Some do hunt with them, and lib anti-gun fuel.

Did the libs, whose posts I am unable to see, explain why it's better to kill a deer with a wood stocked boly action than with a plastic stocked semi-auto? Any explanation at all?

I've personally hunted and killed deer with an AR and I keep a couple of Bushmaster 10-round magazines just for that purpose. The deer were no more or less dead than when I use my bolt action .308, ;lever action .45-70 or .44 mag. revolver.
