I just reposted this before I saw your thread. Rest in Peace, Agent Holley.

Rest in Peace, Brother......

Can any local coppers shed any light on this one? Was this just a robbery gone bad or is there more to it??? Kudos to the "Off Duty" copper for taking action.....

Smith was found in possession of personal property belonging to Holley (retired ATF agent).

Smith was arrested fleeing from the scene by an off-duty police officer.

Police... say the gun used in the slaying was reported stolen last week.

Condolences to Holley's family. Sounds like he had quite an illustrious career in LE.

And kudos to the off-duty LEO.
