Terrible accident near our house. Roads expected to be closed for up to six hours. No one getting through but neighbors, rescue vehicles and news vans.

Word is one of the drivers has life threatening injuries. Of course it's the one who didn't cause it

Kidding! You're correct it does suck, but if it's one of those random events then it's really in the grand scheme of things just a minor nit. Then again it looks pretty cold where you are too. Either way hope those injured pull through.

It's darn cold, I feel bad for the rescue workers. There was a school bus involved as well, special needs kids. They are all ok, thankfully.

Back in 87 or 88 I couldn't get by an accident road block about 1/4 mile from my road. Was working the noon-midnight shift and just wanted to go to bed. A truck full of lobsters had rolled over on one of the bad corners of "The Airline" road and guess the critters were all over the place!!

Had the next day off, and went up to the scene....and for sure, a lot of those spiders had tried making a break for it and were all over the road.

The road has been widened and "fixed" since then, but still a bad road in the winter. I missed out on a tractor trailer accident a couple years ago that contained a trailer full of Ganong's Chocolates!!

Wicked good stuff...
