I always wanted to own at least one Sig center fire pistol. My first sig pistol was a Mosquito. The horrid mosquito experience turned me off, and Sig took a back seat to other pistols. The other reason it took so long is that I couldn't find a Sig that fit me just right.
Then I found this:
I know... I know... a P250 Compact 9mm. He went from a Mosquito to a P250?
I have experience on different pistol trigger actions. I shoot them all well, but prefer a good DAO trigger. The P250 has an excellent DAO trigger. The medium grip frame feels as if it were custom tailored for my hand.
I had no idea that the P250 was a modular system. I can pop the fire control unit into different caliber x-change kits. I've purchased:
P250SC 9mm: complete gun used to get a 2nd FCU.
P250SC 45ACP: x-change kit.
P250 Compact 45 ACP: x-change kit.
I have the full size x-change kits for 9mm and 45 ACP full size on back order.
I also purchased a Sig 1911-22 for a training analog for my Ruger SR1911.
One sig leads to another ... and another ...and another...
