Should I buy this
A close friend is selling this full setup for $350 tell me what you think. This gear is all gently used and the firearm has 1k maximum rounds through it..
-Ruger 10/22 with ATI tactical folding stock
-3 ruger 25 round mags (bmx or whatever)
-$120 cabellas brand scope
-random bipod and foregrip (feels like good quality)
-cheapo sling and case
Sounds like a deal to me?!
Also I live in Texas so do I need to do anything or just give him cash and its over?

depending on the condition, that is a reasonable price. if you can find them, the stock 10/22 is $220. pay and go, thats the Texas way, kill that paper trail.

The only good part of that deal sounds like the rifle and mags. The other stuff is cheap throwaway junk IMO. All the ATI stocks I've felt have been loose fitting and poorly thought out designs. I'd wait and try to find one for less $$$ that is stock then preform your own quality modifications as you see fit. My $100 10/22 shoots just fine the way it came from the factory almost 20 years ago.

Agree,
I personally wouldn't pay $350 for it.
posted from my stupid smart phone, please excuse any spelling mistakes.

Rifle and mags, used? Worth about $175. 10/22's aren't exactly uncommon.
The rest of the stuff is junk, and not worth the original paid price.

I'd say $350 is a bit steap.
Most of that stuff isn't worth anything on the used market. I'd pay $250 tops for everything or I'd just buy a new 10/22 and put a $50 scope on it. You don't need a real good scope on a semi auto 22lr.

FWIW - Ruger BX-25 mags were retailing for about $25 +/- before the madness, so if they aren't too beat up, they are worth some money.
Most online sellers are out, and they are going for about $75 each new on GB.
Aside from that, the cost is not bad - by current rates. If you like it, then buy, buy, buy. Wheel & deal to get the cost down if you can.

The price (to me) is high, by about $75-100.00.
The BEST part of this deal is the 'cash and carry' FTF sale.
What would it hurt, to counter-offer with $275 or $300.00?????
All he can do, is say, "No."
