I am no photographer, but I was messing around with my Nikon D70 several years ago and the macro settings to take shots of tiny wildflowers on our deck box after the sprinklers hit them. Came up with this shot I have always liked.

My favorite
OK, probably the best, and my favorite for sure. From High Island, TX, April, 2012, a Great Egret in full breeding plumage. He posed like this for 20 minutes, I must have taken a hundred shots. A good idea for a thread like this, IMO.

I took this one a while back of an old stone mill in our neighborhood. I got up very early on a Sunday morning in October to catch the morning's first rays of sunshine hitting the trees. Three shots of different exposures were combined using Photomatix Pro to provide this HDR image, which was then further processed in Photoshop to enhance the saturation and sharpness. I have a 16x24 print on metallic photo paper framed in my living room. Enjoy.
