I would like to batch convert DOC files to TXT files using LibreOffice. I am not interested in downloading another app simply to accomplish the task. Google reveals what seem to be conflicting Libre solutions, none of which work for me. Does anyone have any experience doing such a thing?

Which version of LibreOffice do you have? I believe there is (was?) a bug related to this.
