I am new to this forum. wondering if there is anyone who hunts with spears or atlatl's, and might have some good links to the sport.

Have you hunted with success using an Atlatl?

I've met a couple of guys who have used spears in Africa, but never anyone who has used an Atlatl. Gotta say -- it's another way to go!! Me... I'll stick to my rifle as I can't climb trees any longer.

Post any sport hunting links you might have -- I wouldn't mind getting schooled a little.

A group of guys that hunts around western portions of the lake and actually throws them at hogs and have plenty good skills.

I personally, like a bullet or arrow.

Yeh, me too. I don't think I'd be to good with a spear.

I'm barely good enough at times with the bullet or the arrow ! haha.
