Glock Magazine Question

I have a fairly new Gen 4 G17 and I want to know if it will use Gen 3 G17 magazines, assuming that I find a Gen 3 instead of a Gen 4 model somewhere.

I think it should work, the only difference is the ambidextrous cuts I believe. This video should help if you feel like watching it.

They will work fine if it's set up with the mag release button set up on left side for a right handed shooter.

No, you're just going to have to sell those magazines.. I'll buy them from ya $10 a piece shipped.. just joking. As mentioned above they will work assuming you have the magazine release on the gen4 setup for a right handed shooter.
My name is John
