Charter Schools Owned By Turkish Sect

This is interesting: A Turkish Imam and his sect have general-education schools in various US states, in the form of charter schools.

Some of my forebears were early settlers in that state, but I don't live there. I guess I have guilt in a Biblical sense.

Reminds me of those Catholic schools that have ties to the church. I wonder how many innocent children are forced to go to those places under the "watchful" eyes of the priests? All the while our tax dollars support this practice and it should disturb us. We don't need religious schools being funded with tax payer dollars.

Can't be true, separation of church and state, remember?

Are any religious schools other than Muslim ones actually supported with tax dollars? None of the ones with which I'm familiar are.

But don't the parents that send their kids to private school also pay for kids that aren't their own to go to "public" school?

Ties?
Oh... it is likely that every religion has sex offenders. Teachers in public schools abuse students too. If you feel free to make those comparisons, how can you get offended by the broad brush accusations that all gun owners want to kill someone?

I don't use airlines for transportation. I don't drive on the interstates.

Might this lead to:

"Children, today we are going to learn who killed Jesus. It was the Jews!"

"Children, what is the proper way to hold a snake in church?"

"Today's lunch menu includes your choice of fish or chile, and grape or cherry Kool-Aid!"
