Yeah some people shouldn't play w/ scissors or guns. Geeze, hopefully that house was out in the country!

So she cooks up a log of gel, lays it on a bed inside her home and shoots it. Interesting.

Very little useful information about ballistics or stopping power, penetration and the power of the load.
OTOH
A whole bucket full of information about the power of human stupidity.

I wonder why she chose a bed for a back-stop?

Yeah, so it exited bare naked geletin then harmlessly bounced off a pillow?
I'm not worried about naked targets and overpenetration.
That geletin 'log' didn't look like 18" and it didn't jiggle like any calibrated ballistic geletin I've ever seen.
And how did she get multiple entrance and multiple exit wounds from a single mushroomed bullet which didn't fragment?
But, was she hawt?

The bullet did expand pretty well in the gel. Maybe that is why the exiting bullet didn't do much damage to the pillow.

That's without a doubt the strangest gel test that I've ever seen.

Hitch hikers thumb...mine do that as well. Didn't you go over that in middle school science class? It's a genetic trait, just like being able to roll your tongue

Well no offense to you. I never recall going over that in school. Nor have I even seen anyone who's thumbs looked like that.
Like I said, never having seen that before, it just creeped me out...

That's exactly why it didn't. If the bullet failed to expand, it would have left the end of the gel block going quite a bit faster and blown through the pillow, the wall, and Heaven knows what else...
That's a lot of faith to have in a JHP.
