65,000,000 sold in the last 3 years, but they still claim there are only 310,000,000 guns in America. I expect 310 mil isn't half of all the guns in America.

These numbers need to get out to the general public. Our foes wish the public to think virtually no background checks are being done.

18M NRA members would be nice. 25M would be super.

I have felt a more urgent need the last four years for guns and accessories.
I have bought three AR rifles, and about 10 or 12 pistols. A nice brace of M&P pistol, various Glocks, a few Berettas, and a few 1911s.

If 75% of Americans would vote I'd be happy. Honestly don't give a damn who they vote for, just vote!
I'm wondering if "good intentions" isn't spelled "apathy" sometimes.

The midterm elections are VERY important.
As to the hope that 75% of Americans would vote, no matter for whom, I think 5 Philidelphia precincts turned out 100% with NO Romney votes, and was it Madison Wis. that turned out 110% of registered voters??

The number is low since in states like Texas a background check isn't required if the buyer has a concealed carry license.
Most every shooter I know has a CHL. and bought multiple guns last year.

Then that wouldn't be a legitimate vote, now would it?
I just want "the people" to care, that's all.

If only "caring" meant "being informed"... I got you.
I wish more folks would vote for decentralization,
local control and smaller government.
Otherwise, staying home is fine by me.

Then we're not talking about the same thing.
Care enough about their government to vote.
I'll worry about HOW they're voting after that step is done.

And if Obama's 40% figure on the private sales "loophole" is true, then it was actually 109,000,000 guns sold.

That is the same in Kentucky...and Kentucky was still the #1 state for background checks last year, as I recall. That's a lot of guns.
