Local WallyWorld has a total of 4 boxes on the shelves.

Thank you to whomever posted the link for "gunbot." Through that I ordered 500 rounds of 9mm target ammo at a reasonable price from Natchez Shooters Supply.

Check every few hours as things change rapidly. I was able to buy ammo for about 36 cents/round. Those deals don't last long, and it seems like you can get whatever you want if you're willing to spend a lot.

Walmart I. Panama city only carries the hunting rounds (.270 .30-30 etc). They are wiped of 9 .40, .45, and other common calibers. Luckily at the last gun show o managed to get around 200 rds

FWIW, I had an interesting conversation with the young lady who sold me a box of .40 @ WM (Ft. Payne, AL) yesterday. She said they have them on standing order but don't know when they'll get them. They sold out of this last shipment in less than 12 hours. I just happened to hit it right to get the last box of ANY caliber handgun ammo.

She said the best time to catch it on the shelves is about 0715, local time. First shift comes in @ 0700 and usually that's the first thing they hit because their is a line waiting for it to hit the sales floor.

Note: they had a ton of rifle and shotgun ammo. If I had a 7mm or 30-06 I could have loaded a shopping cart.

One of my co workers just got his FDE FN SCAR 16S for a very very nice discount.

I would say 99% of us work there only for the inside track on weapons we normally would not ever try to get.

nothing here in the orlando area.. walmart has plenty of shoot gun shells.. nothing else and i mean nothing. in fact i just loaded a couple hundred rounds of 9mm for target and that was cause a friend gave me primers.. you cant find small or large pistol primers here bullets or powder..

One of my local ranges (shooters wold) had cci mini mags in stock. 49.99 for a 375 round box. You had to use the range to buy them, and I actually bought one...

was able to score 300 rounds at two stops over the weekend in Scottsboro, AL.

First stop at Scottsboro Gun & Pawn netted all 200 rounds of American Eagle .40 FMJ the store had.

The second stop was a little more stressful. My wife and I went straight to the ammo counter and waited our turn. The guy behind the counter acted like he didn't want to wait on us. Finally, we were able to get someone to wait on us. I asked how much and he told me that "it depends. Some of this stuff we can't sell." What? It's on the shelf. If you can't sell it - move it!

I then asked making sure it was FMJ. He picked up a box and said "I think so." He then began opening the box and said "I hate to break the SEAL on these." What seal you dummy? Sure enought, FMJ.

He then asked me how many do you want? I responded two boxes. He grabbed another box. My wife (God love her) said "why don't you go ahead and get 5 boxes since they have it in stock?" I then asked the guy for 3 more boxes. HE WOULDN'T SELL THEM TO ME! He said that he needed to keep his stock for people who were buying guns.

Anyway, scored some more rounds for practice and GSSF later this summer.

My job takes me around the western states and I have found ammo every week!
There is a True Value store in a tiny little town and every time I go thru there, I score 22Mag ammo. WalMart stores in Wyoming are always good for one or two boxes of 9, 40 or 45.
Now it is an issue of the wife allowing us to spend when I find it... She is the house appropriations committee and she has veto power.....
