For those with a CC permit and G26 or G27

Are you able to pocket carry with a holster? If so, what pocket holster do you prefer and which have you tried and did not work?

Only in baggy short that I wear outside the house. It is too big for any of the pockets in my trousers/jeans.

i carried my 26 with a cheap uncle mikes pocket holster in carpenters jeans while working construction. it worked pretty good. the carpenters pants have bigger pocket openings as well.

lately ive been wearing better fitting lighter khakis and slacks to an office job and a LCP is much harder to conceal.

Do the 511 type office pants have deep enough pockets to work with the g26/27 ?

Also are they cost prohibitive even if they do work?

26 is too big to pocket carry for me.

But I can pocket carry a 642, PM9, or LCP.

The only time I carry my G27 in a pocket is when I am heading to bead in my PJs. Other than that it's a Foxx Holster Little Foxx.

I don't think I would carry my 26 in my pocket. There is no safety.

I have a few (2) pair of cargo shorts with big/deep enough packets that I can carry my G27 in a pocket holster. I mostly use my M.T.A.C. or a small IWB holster. I'm a big guy so I tend to carry more to the 2:30/3:00 position as my belly pulls my shirts tight around my love handles. Lol.

Edit: I'm talking about the front pockets on my cargo shorts, to me the 27 is just to heavy and bangs my knee to much for carry in the cargo pocket.

I tried to carry a Glock 26 in a Kramer pocket holster. It did not work. The Kramer holster was just too large for a pocket.

I do have a number of Kramer belt holsters and they work just fine.

Yes in regular jeans. No bending over or extended sitting in an upright position but I do it around the yard cutting grass and such all the time.

Mainly IWB for the G27 for me. It's too big for pocket carry for average sized people. I'm 5'8 175lbs and my pockets are just too small. It'll fit but I have to wrestle and wiggle it out. I'd be screwed if I'm in a hurry to get it out.

I am unable to pocket carry my G26 comfortably. The weapon is too thick and heavy for me. It is carried in the summer either IMB,OWB,ankle holster or fanny pack.

For those with a CC permit and G26 or G27

I have carried a G26/27, off duty in a pocket holster. It gets old real quick. The best pocket holster I've used, for j-frames and sub Glocks is the Mika.

The Mika works okay in jeans or cargo pants/shorts with deep pockets, but again it gets old quick. If you really want to use that pistol for pocket carry, take a look at the Mika, good stuff.

Remora Iwb or crossbred or blackhawk owb. Too big for a front pocket. Way too thick for the back.

IMO the best pocket carry is a S&W 640 Pro Series .357 Magnum. In a Galco Horsehide pocket holster. No safety , shrouded hammer, long double action pull, can't discharge accidently. Don;t even feel it in your pocket. .357 is a respectable round. Carry a couple speed clips in another pocket and you are good to go. I have a G26 and a G27. They go in my backpack, or briefcase. or Galco Miami Classic shoulder rig.

Glocks can't discharge accidently either, not if they're in a holster.

Here's what I wore today:

Gen 4 G26 in a Tucker Cover Up .

I don't like pocket carry, although as a last resort I have pocket carried my Sig p238 in a Bullard.

I often pocket carry my G27 around the house in a Remora holster.

Out and about, I carry it in a Crossbreed Supertuck at 4:00.

Pocket carry was a no go for me with the baby Glock. Only possibility was a cargo shorts pocket and the flopping back and forth against my leg ended that quickly.

Pocket carry simply isn't adequate for me except for rare occasions or just to the mailbox and back. A belt mounted holster is more stable, keeps the weapon in the exact same position all the time, and is accessible from a seated position.

Same. Jacket pocket sometimes, but rarely.

I may pocket carry my 26 in loose pants for a quick trip to the store, but like posted above, the flopping around makes it uncomfortable for me for all day.

That's going to be tough and dependent on what you are wearing. IMHO, I'd rather not. I use a IWB.
