Obama Care is Already Killing Me.
My co-pay went from $20.00 to $25.00 to $40.00 to $115.00. My rates increased 18% while my benefits decreased. I wish there was a political party I Washington that would look the President and the Democrats in the eye and calmly call them what they are: liars who are buying votes through a massive wealth redistribution program called nationalized health care. I wish here was a party who would nail the President and the Democrats to the wall any time they play the class water are card and do it to their faces.

If only Sessions would call the President a liar. No one in the GOP has then courage to do it.

Please explain to me, in detail, EXACTLY how 'Obamacare' CAUSED your insurance prices to increase, along with your copays.
When, exactly, were your copays $20? When, exactly, did they increase to $25?
When, exactly, did they increase from $25 to $40?
When, exactly, did they increase from $40 to $115 dollars.
It sounds to me that your employer is passing along increased costs, and increased co-payments, directly to you, as a way to keep HIS costs for health insurance down.
That's why I want to know, specifically, exactly how 'Obamacare' caused the increases in both your health insurance premiums, as well as increases in your co-pays.
By all means: educate all of us.

Is this your standard doctor visit copay? $115? WOW
So when you go in to get a Z-pak for a sinus infection you end up paying $115, but the doctor probably wouldn't even bill over $100. This will make people think twice about going to the doctor at all.

Don't worry, this is just a transitional phase. When it's fully implemented, you will be paying close to $2500 less per year.

I sure hope BHO will hurry up and save me this $2500 in premiums...then my healthcare would be free (except co-pays for meds), plus taxpayers would still owe me almost $200!

Okay here are some more specifics and yes my employer has something to do with it. For our company is being forced to put us into a Governnent-mandated program where Obama care will force is to buy the package they mandate instead of letting each of us choose a plan that suits our needs. We are going ahead and biting the bullet now.
The change in deductibles arised from us our trying to find the best plan we could that would keep the portion we pay down. Now we have to pay $115.00 as copy for any specialist and $40.00 for a family doctor. So since a Pediatricin is a specialist, we pay more.
The series of rises in co-pays has arised from our company trying to find a plan that is reasonable.
I cleaned bathrooms, worked in a sawmill and worked in a ladies garment factory to get a four year degree so I could have a job with benefits. Now that is changing and I will change but the part about us keeping the insurance we have and costs going down is a lie plan and simple.

Insurance Companies can not run on defecits like the Federal Gov. So they are proactively raising the costs to be able to afford to pay out claims for the following.
Central to ObamaCare are requirements that health insurers - accept everyone who applies (guaranteed issue)
- cannot charge more based on serious medical conditions (modified community rating)
- include numerous coverage mandates that force insurance to pay for many often uncovered medical conditions.
Also people will not get insurance until they are sick as they have to be accepted. And drop the insurance when they do not need it. Paying the penalties is actually cheaper than paying the premiums.
So the insurance costs go up. And some one has to pay for it..right?
The insurance companies are now seeing this freight train coming, and they are now hitting businesses with huge increases.
It is tough already to make payroll based on all the heavy taxes and regulations.
Now we are faced with math, something most folks just do not get. To keep people employed there is only so much money you have to keep things moving, pay your people, reinvest in your company etc.
You have choices to make when you are hit with something like this. - Lay off people
- Have the employees pay a higher premium to avoid number 1
- Do not reinvest in your company and watch it slowly die.
- As a follow up to number 3, you close the doors and now you have folk unemployed.
Now you have all these huge megalithic companies, GE for an example getting passes as not to have to participate in the contributions.
If they are not paying into to this tripe, who do you think is?
Hint it goes back down the shute to the business that are already feeling the pinch from this, and now has some hard decisions to make.

I feel your pain. And I've got a double whammy. I'm on Flovent and Proair to the tune of 90 bucks a month. And my parents make me pay for my own meds. I'm a broke college student so 90 bucks a month is no chump change for me.

Pediatricians are not specialists, they are your child's PCP. All regular well-visits to pediatricians should be free. Any sick visit is billed at your PCP copay rate. Any specialist pediatrician, ie ent or eye doctor is billed at the specialist copay.

Exactly. This is just another one of Obama's methods of redistributing wealth.

How exactly does a raging liberal progressive's head get so far up his butt while maintaining the ability to draw oxygen into his lungs?
These are the big questions, folks...

This is why I am down on the Republican party almost as much as the democrats.
For a long time I argued for the Republicans, that they are not the same as the democrats but the fact is the Republican party is nothing but Democrat Lite.
They do nothing but sit on their ass and talk while the democrats screw us.
My Blue Cross just went up $50 a month and that's just the start.
The first thing I ask when someone complains is, "Did you vote for obama", if they say "Yes" I tell them I hope you lose every cent you have.

In before the someone said you just gave Obama a victory by refusing to stick your nose up for the Republican.

True, it will probably be 10 times that. The Gubmint in control of our healthcare money IS the worst case scenario.

Exactly. No government spending plan has ever stayed on budget. Local city councils can't even forecast the cost of a bridge correctly.
In 75 years, after medical advances and an increasing welfare demographic, 10x the cost will probably seem absurdly low.
We'll all just be working for food and medicine before we know it.

Let's say for the sake of argument that you get laid off or fired, get sick with no health care insurance, go to Dr or hospital for your free health care only to find an IRS agent awaiting who pings you with the $2500 tax/fine/fee but can't even afford to pay that.
What is your prison term going to be now that you're a federal criminal?
Just wondering if the health care in prison will be covered...
