Watching a rerun of Campus PD to avoid watching the SOTU. This gem shows up and I'm on the floor laughing! Go to about 2:08

That law is only in effect in the lower peninsula. In Marquette, which is in Da U.P., hats need not be worn by the citation-issuing officer. Needless to say, they do things a little differently up there

Tickets here are given at the officers discretion whether to cite or arrest. If you don't graciously accept my ticket I put the clipboard down and pull out the cuffs.
