My first brand new firearm was in the summer of 1994. It was a Colt Sporter Match HBAR and I paid $750. I still have it. My first new handgun was a Beretta 92FS for IIRC $450, also in 1994. I still have it, too. That was right before the Clinton AWB.

Santa bought me my first new gun in 1966. An Ithaca M-66 "Supersingle" 20ga single-shot.
The first gun I ever picked out for myself and paid for was a Sears-Roebuck double 12 ga. A rebranded Stevens 311, it had 30 in barrels choked mod/full, and cost $79.95 in the Sears-Roebuck catalog. My mother called the Sears store and ordered it, a brown canvas hunting coat, and a couple of boxes of shells in those "pre GCA-68" days. That would have been about July...August of 1967. Sears truck delivered it to the house a couple of days later. I would have been about 15 I guess.
First one I ever went into a store and bought for myself, was a Winchester 12 ga pump gun. What were they? Model 1300? 1200? I forget. It had a rifle sight slug barrel I remember, and I bought it at the long gone Red-Ford and Sons sporting goods store in Richmond (Va.). I THINK I paid $129.00 for it. No idea when it was, but it would have been about 72-73 I guess.
First handgun was a 4" Model 19. I don't really remember when I bought it, but I got it from another long gone dealer in Chesterfield County. It was around $250.00.

First gun was a Remington 1100 as a Christmas gift when mom and dad not got Citori's for each other.
My first purchase was a Glock 19 Gen 4 in early Jan, 2013. 😊 Paid $549 + tax at a LGS.
BTW, those Brownings are coming my way this weekend. Mom and dad don't hunt any longer. Good day for me!

S&W 459 in about 1987. Foolishly sold my Colt Lawman MK III so I could get a crappy DA/SA S&W and be one of those modern 9mm carrying cops. In 1988 I traded it in on a Colt King Cobra (never as good as the Lawman) so I could go back to being one of those old-fashioned revolver carrying cops.

My first gun was a Savage model 72. I was 12. Back then i could jump on my bike go into town and buy my own ammo at the hardware store. It was a 3-4 hr trip so i would get as meany rounds as i could carry. At least 3-250 round boxes.
I still have that gun. It looks just like it did on day one. My gun smith looked down the barrel and estimated that there have been 20k rounds through it. He is probably right.

My first "new" gun was a Ruger 10/22 my Dad gave me in 1970 after I passed the NRA Hunters Safety course. Not sure what he paid for it, I still have it.
The first "new" gun I ever bought was in 1974. It was a Remington 870 Wingmaster, 12 gauge, 28" ribbed barrel just like my Grandpa had. I bought it at a popular (back then) sporting goods store we had in Phoenix called Yates on 40th Street and Thomas. I don't have that shotgun anymore as I sold it when my Grandfather passed away and I got his 870 that I had always coveted.

First NIB gun I ever purchased was an HK4 in .380 and .22. I purchased it Feb 28 1983 for the handsome sum of $480.00. I still own it and it's a great shooter.

Do you count gun shows as "store-bought"?
If so mine would be my Norinco Type 56S bought in April of 1988 at a gun show here in Fort Lauderdale. Price was $350 OTD. It came with the box and three 30-round mags. It is STILL my go-to rifle!!!
If not then I would have to say a Colt Government .380 bought at Oshman's (sp?) also in Fort Lauderdale, not sure of year or price. I traded it away years ago

Bought a blued 6" S&W 19-5. Don't remember how much.

Model 36 in about 1982, maybe the beginning of 1983, for a bit less than 300 if I remember. I already had several guns but they were used.

Colt Combat Commander that I bought for $159.95 in 1975. While I coveted the Gold Cup and the blued Python...their prices were out of my affordabilty range at the outrageous price of $229.95.
If we only knew...

My first gun was a new Glock 22c. Had it for a couple months and traded it and a little bit of cash for a Beretta 92 that I still have. Just wasnt a fan of .40 and fell in love with the 92 the first time I shot one.

My first gun that I bought new in a gun store was an old style, stainless steel Ruger Vaquero in 45 Colt...think it was $350.00-ish. 1999.
I had about 4 other handguns that were used before that, but the Ruger was the first brand new gun I bought.

I had several guns, rifles and shotguns already but they were either purchased used or were hand me downs from my grandfather or uncle.
The first firearm I purchased brand spanking new was my Interarms Walther PPK in .380. I needed a BUG (I was carrying an issued Ruger Security Six) and the PPK fit the bill along with a Bianchi Shoulder Rig.
Soon after I purchased a brand new S&WM686 which served me well for many years. But the award for the first goes to the PPK.

On my 18th birthday I purchased a Marlin 39a from dicks sporting goods. I think it was around 450.00, I had been saving for quite a while and always lusted after that rifle. It is still the .22 I reach for when tin cans need killed.

April 1991. 2 days after my 21st birthday I purchased a new Taurus PT-92 that did not have a decocker. Dead solid reliable and accurate! Wish I still had it and the K-38 model 14 I had at the time.

Can't remember the exact year but my best friend and I decided to buy a pair of Remington 1100's in the late 70's. We went into Edelman's Sporting Goods in Farmingdale, NY and bought 2 guns, Red Ball waiters, Woolrich jackets, ammo and we were in the duck hunting business on the bays of the south shore of LI. Leslie Edelman had the best sporting goods dealership on the Island back in the day. They are no longer in business but if you recognize the name he is the owner of Kimber today.
