I hate when people say "Todays market" I overpaid at 549. A Glock is worth 450$ regardless of color.

Value is subjective and also based on demand. I didn't bat an eye paying what I did for it- maybe you would never do so, but that's where "worth" is subjective. Based on mags (may be banned soon) and color (which to my understanding the gen3 FDE is no longer manufactured, and certainly is nowhere in my area in any lgs) it was well worth it to me.
Plus, I didnt have time to wait it out for long and see where else I vould get it at a slightly better price. That grand was my spending "allowance" from my tax return that woulda slowly drained itself on small crap. Had to bite the bullet so to speak lol.

Well I COULDA kept bidding and bidding on it. It would surely have gotten near that BUY NOW price. My time messing with all that is worth more than what I woulda saved money wise. Money means nothing to me, honestly. Seller is happy, I'm happy.
Now I just need a threaded barrel and a can... >_>

I feel ya. Sometimes want trumps logic. I did the same when I first started buying firearms, paid 1000$ for an XM15E2S. But in the last month I have acquired a Gen 3 G19 FDE and today a Gen 3 OD G17 and paid less than 1000$ for the two of them. I just can't believe the gougers out there pricing Glocks that high. Hope in the future they blue label OD/FDE framed guns.

Right now you will have a hard time finding any Glock. Give it a month or two and hopefully things will be back to normal and you'll find you a FDE Glock.

So you overpaid. That made the seller happy, anyway. Enjoy your new gun.

Dude, I know they're not here right NOW, but if you plan on staying alive for another 1-1.5 months, they'll be here soon enough. Glock made the OD and FDE colored frames exclusively for Lipsey's. All you need to do is find a LGS that deals with Lipsey's and order one. I've got three on order. Check out the 40 comments under the FDE Gen 4 G19 here: http://lipseysguns.com/?page=2
Why overpay unless you've got money to burn? If that's the case, send some my way bro!

Yes... Glock had a factory OD that has been discontinued.
