Connecticut FORCING an AWB by end of the month

Call the COnnecticut Senator's office at (202) 224-4041 and politely let them know that your family has seen all of the statistics and Sandy Hook parent videos on how an AWB does not work, and that you will be forced to vote everyone out like we did with Clinton's ban. Spread this to other forums please...never give up.

Personally, I'm surprised it took this long.

The TSA was formed and funded within 69 days of the 9/11 attacks and we all know how that well oiled machine runs.

Best of luck to you guys up there in CT. I really feel sorry for the law-abiding folks who are going to be affected by this.

I really enjoyed my time being stationed there in New London, but am really sad to know that there are a bunch of turds in office ruining that place.

They are trying to desperately ride what's left of the Sandy Hook 'emotion' wave...if they don't try it now they know they won't be able to do it later since the statistical facts are against them.

It is critical to keep calling and letting them know that 'everyone on the internet' knows the facts show it doesn't work just like it didn't work last time...that is the only theme that seems to stick with these gun-grabbers.

Oh good grief. I wasn't questioning whether or not you were "true patriots" or not. I was just saying there aren't many of you in that part of the country for a reason.

Who could have guessed things would go south so quickly. No question. But when it does, it's going to get worse in the already far left areas first. Kind of like how when a hurricane hits, it hits the areas nearest water before everywhere else.

That's all I was implying.

Why wouldn't they? CT's current AWB exempts manufacturers even though it ban's the Colt AR-15 and Sporter.

The state will continue to exempt manufacturers simply to keep the tax's confiscated from them rolling in.

One thing people in free states should keep in mind. Much as Heller and Chicago were wins and applied to the entire country, if Obama replaces Scalia, Alito, Kennedy, Thomas, or Roberts, SCOTUS could uphold parts or all of NY's SAFE Act or anything that comes out of CT when these laws are challenged.
