I agree. Anyone who uses these programs or benefits from them and other things such as school loans are parasitical leeches. It is not the programs that have changed but the attitude of entitlement and the embracement of socialism and theft at the hands of the government.

Let me ask you something. Can you actually find poor people in this country? You can find people with less but you wont find any real population of poor people. It is simply not true to say the "middle class" is shrinking unless we redefine what it means to be poor. (and we have, in order to prove utter BS points)
Second, the rich get richer (accumulate more) at a greater rate than everyone else. Explain to me how else it could possible work.

In other words, you don't like what the economically defined terms and numbers are telling us and don't want to discuss it.
Why?
So, you use ill defined and subjective terms that we can not objectively evaluate - to what end?

agreed, got a bunch at my work like this make $60-75 a year(with OT) and have $250,000 houses, 2 car payments, kids, etc, etc one guy mentioned to pay his bills he needs one overtime a pay period...some of these guys just built these big expensive houses have 30 year Mortages and can only(at our job MANDITORY retirement is 57) work another 15 years max....when you ask them how are you gonna pay off that last 15 years of the mortage when you retire..they say "we will cross that bridge when we come to it"...in other words they have absolutely no idea how they will afford it then..this is the instant gratification generation(thats what ive been calling it for a while now) as long as they have something they want right now even though they cant afford it in the long run..if they have it NOW they are happy.
I consider myself middle class. My house will be paid off in 5-7 years we are down to 1 car payment(paid mine off this last summer) and now we will wait till one is paid off before getting another never have 2 again. I can retire in as little as 6 years and work as long as 13 more if I choose to do so at my current job. I make around 60K a year, I dont work OT id rahter spend the time i have off actually being OFF.
Oh and a great proportion on this spending way too much especially on houses&vehicles is perpetuated by the lending institutions that try to assure these brain dead people that cant think or do a budget for themselves that they CAN afford far,far more than they actually can.. When we went in to get a mortage(get "pre approval" I had the VA loan but we went in to talk to some financial lady that was supposed to help us plan how much house we could afford) and talk to some lady thats supposed to help with that...we had already sat down and knew we(this was back in 1994/95) could actually AFFORD a mortage on anything $150,000 or LESS. 150K would be pushing top end and comfortable would be around $115-125K. When we told the lady that she added some stuff up on her machine and shook her head and she assured us we could "easily" afford $225K of house on what we both made...we knew that was not right and we got REAL LUCKY and got a house for $57K on a estate sale...but had we took her advice we would never have been able to afford the payments when we had a kid.
I think the financial institutions purposely mislead people now days just to get them to take aout a loan..they dont care that the people cant pay it off in the long run as long as they have the loan on the books in the short run...again....instant gratification at the expense of looking at the big picture even in business....

No, you can not tell me how I feel, no matter how much you would like to in order to prove your point. Again, I ask you to find me a population of poor people in this country. You can find groups of people with "less" but for the most part, there are no "poor" people in this country. You will also find more "rich" people than at any time, anywhere in history. (with a small dip over the last few years from the pre 9/11 /internet bubble days)
Such truths do not bode well at all for someone trying to make points about wealth inequity in this country.
Again, we have to redefine what the middle class is, just like we have redefined what "poor" is in order to make the points you are trying to make.
I also once again ask, How else could it possibly work? That is, the wealthy accumulating at a higher rate than everyone else.

No one can, our feeling are part of what makes all different. And I didn't mention your feelings at all.

Youare pissing uphill into the wind asking if he can find "poor" people into the USA.
Most "poor people" in the USA are wearing nikes, have flat screen TVs, and a car.
Compare that to a "poor person" or even "middle class" person in Africa, the mid east, mexico, south america, etc.
The Western worlds definition of "poor" has changed due to western prosperity.
In many parts of the world, poor mean you dont eat. Poor here means you send your kid to school (while you dont work and have you nails done, etc) and they get free lunch. BTW, those who say there is no free lunch, aren't aware of public schools.

I have made my points pretty clear in this thread, so instead of quoting all of them again, to answer the second part of your question, I'll just say "this thread." Perhaps you should read it.
You really suck at this game.

So all you got is "like"; is that the one word?
Is that a waste of a moment or do you think it is a moment that should live forever*, Rabbi?
And what about the second part of my post above - where is that?
*"When you waste a moment, you have killed it in a sense, squandering an irreplaceable opportunity. But when you use the moment properly, filling it with purpose and productivity, it lives on forever."

Taxes, Rabbi's feelings, games and this. An interesting thread that doesn't have much to with the topic.
I can't wait for Rabbi's next move.

I have no desire to further indulge someone who plays so poorly. I am, however, amused by the simplicity of this game and shall now dine upon fine meats and cheeses.

I'm a bit surprised at that. All you had him on was 'like' and your feelings. While PaulMason had you with the charts, focus and making you repeat yourself and admitting you were playing a game. He kept his cards close to his vest.
If I were judging the game, I would have to give it to PauMason on points.

The man put words into my mouth and failed to either understand what I said or care.
Either way, based on that, I am no longer interested.

Come on man - we are talking here about the game - THE GAME!
Words into your mouth - 'like'? that is weak - I'm sorry I have to tell you that. And when you said 'feelings'; that wasn't very ... well manly?
And, did he fail to to either understand what you said or care or was he playing the game? - He didn't take your bait and stayed focused. If he was playing the game then that is good game playing.
Pick yourself up and get back in THE GAME! Do it for the Gipper.

I am even less interested in the guy on the sidelines who is trying to start something between other parties.

Games are won by putting more points on the board - you didn't get any.
And
A Game is not won by one person quitting, which you did.
Quitting, and attempting to demean your opponent is just another sign character. Like most of your posts, this gambit, is obvious, poorly executed and revealing.
