Glock 41 Today

I've resisted long enough.... Eventhough I own a G21 Gen4... The Glock Fanboy in me got the best of me. I had a set of truglo brites out on in lieu of the crappy adjustable sights that came standard. The 4.5 connector feels good on the trigger pull as well.
All I need is to do my obligatory engraving highlights & install the extended slide release and she's ready to be shot! On a another note... Glock is putting GLOBS if copper anti seize on the rails these days! Maybe it has something to do with sales and the possibility of these models sitting longer.
The ironic paradox is the G42 has been outselling the G41 3-1 in most of my LGS's.... I know b/c I have one too..

Nice 41. Sorry about the dodge.

Sent from my smart phone which has no common sense.

Damn, now I really want one. Can it be justified when I have the G21 (and rarely carry it)? Does it have to be justified? It's a GLOCK, after all.

I just picked my G41 up yesterday and it hardly had any if the factory goop on it, in fact it had less than any other Glock I have ever bought.

The date on the shell pouch on my kit is 6-27-14, fresh off the extruder!

Enjoy your G41. I also remain slightly curious as to the attention the G42 has compared to the G41.

Congrats on the 41! My new Gen4 23 had more than enough of the copper grease in the slide too.

Could it be because of the rapidly growing number of CCW holders? As of last year we have well over a million holders here in Florida and that number is growing. Fast.

I think it has the most to do the the with the price point as well.... I'm seeing G42's going for $399-$439. Most Glock 41's are $620-$699 in my neck of the woods...not to mention, for the avg consumer the G42 represents more utility as an easily carried option. I think fewer people are in the market for a LongSlide .45 ACP as well...

Congrats on the new G41! Now you have extra magazines for both your 21 and 41, plus whatever other .45 ACP Glocks you have.

I like mine a lot, and really appreciate that it fits in my G34 holster I use for matches.

I don't think there will ever be a Glock Long Slide .45 with the 6-inch Long Slide barrel. I like the G41's 5.3-inch Tactical/Practical length barrel...I would not be in the market for a Long Slide .45.

I would very much be in the market for a Glock .357SIG Tactical/Practical model, but I doubt that will ever be made either.

I've got a buddy who has a KKM .357sig barrel for his Gen4 G35... That's as close as u'll get for now...

A wild coincidence would be if Glock's G40 was a longslide .45GAP @ shotshow 2K15

Congratulations on your new G41.

I celebrated Independence Day by buying a G41 on 7/5 myself.

This will be the big brother to the Gen4 G30 I picked up a month ago. I hope to get them out to the range today to see how the G41 shoots (the G30 is a keeper).

Take care,
Bob S.

I would buy one of those in a heart beat.

My experience was consistent with most here, Higher price ($700, tax title and license). It does shoot softer than the other 45's (Not the GAP's however) but those damned adjustables have to do. I have dawson Precision's on my G 35, I may go that way again.
